Le Mans Jazz can accommodate one person for an 8-month voluntary civic service mission which will begin on July 1, 2021. The missions are part of the general project of Le Mans Jazz, association law 1901, founded in 1980. The structure is committed to developing an artistic and cultural project in connection with the territory and it is toward objective that the missions will be directed. Indeed, for many years we have been welcoming volunteers who have all participated in the development of the association’s projects by raising awareness among various audiences of the musical world (schools, remand centers, EHPAD, etc.), by strengthening links between artists and audiences or by developing links between new audiences and the association’s project. The volunteer will therefore have varied, itinerant activities with young people and various audiences and partners. The association is in a period of significant evolution and the hosting of volunteers will be an asset in this context. In addition, he / she will be integrated into a team partly made up of former volunteers and experienced professionals. The volunteer will discover the fields of communication, cultural mediation (actions aimed at all possible audiences) and production, and this throughout the year by following the highlights of Le Mans Jazz. He / she will also have the mission of promoting the various actions of the structure in order to forge links with different types of audiences. To carry out these missions, he / she will be accompanied by the director as well as by the team of permanent employees. He / she will have to use different means of communication in order to reach the different audiences (dissemination and distribution of paper version supports, use of social networks, installation of communication in partner venues, receptive at performance venues, etc.). The volunteer will participate in the organization and logistics of cultural actions, shows in particular: preparation of the reception of artists / audiences / partners, preparation of places of reception of the public, monitoring of actions … Your mission will be built according to the profile and wishes of the young professional engaged and the imperatives and needs of the association.
