PRESS RELEASE October 30, 2020

Following the health crisis linked to the Covid-19 pandemic and within the framework of compliance with the French government measures set, we can no longer organize our shows since October 30, 2020.

After having experienced a more than delicate spring with 78 canceled artistic and cultural highlights, Le Mans Jazz is experiencing another sad episode.

In conjunction with all our public and private partners and with all the artists, we are working to postpone all of the planned programming which cannot take place from October 30, 2020.

Regarding mediation activities, we will be able to pursue certain initiatives in schools, in particular.

Communication adapted to the situation is put in place for the attention of artists, audiences and all those who support us in carrying out our projects from local to international.

We remain determined to continue our actions within the framework of our mission of dissemination, creation and mediation of all jazz for all possible audiences and in all possible places. We hope that our actions can be carried out even more and even better in harmony with the living, listening to our beautiful land and also preserving a historical vision [and always modern!] Of Le Mans Jazz which has always initiated and brought new encounters, which has always offered audiences selected for the show and to experience musical emotions together.

We are also naturally in solidarity with all those who are put to the gross test and who have struggled daily since last March.

It is an infinite happiness to work to make the link, to create the best possible conditions to share unique moments, moments of original music that often give balm to the heart … Precious moments in these difficult times!
